Every September the Bernards Chinese American Association fills the Pleasant Valley Park amphitheater with music, dance, and families from every corner of the township. In 2024 the Bernards Township Republican Municipal Committee was proud to sponsor the festival and to be there in person.
Committee representatives staffed a welcome table, handed out ice cream, and spent the afternoon talking with neighbors about what matters to them: schools, taxes, open space, and keeping Bernards the kind of town where an event like this can happen for free.
Why it matters
Bernards Township is home to a large and growing Chinese American community. Showing up, listening, and helping pay for the day is a small way of saying the committee represents everyone in the township.
